As an experienced clinician and the Clinic Director, Fakira brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and leadership to Ashay Counseling Agency. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS) who is deeply committed to providing exceptional care to clients while also investing in the growth and development of the next generation of clinicians through clinical supervision. Her experience spans work with individuals, couples, families, and diverse populations navigating a wide range of mental health challenges. She approaches every client and supervisee with empathy, integrity, and a genuine dedication to healing. Her passion for the field is reflected in the care she provides and the culture of compassion and excellence she helped build at Ashay.

Alexa Lee, MS, LCMHCA

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to navigate it alone.

Alexa is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) who is passionate about mental health treatment and dedicated to creating a safe, comfortable space where clients can move at their own pace and truly be themselves. She has experience working with teenagers and adults facing anxiety, depression, OCD, and ADHD. Alexa practices from an eclectic approach and believes the relationship between client and therapist is the foundation of meaningful healing and growth.

As a counselor-in-training, under the supervision of a licensed therapist, Alex is dedicated to making every client feel seen, heard, and valued. She works with individuals, couples, families, and children, bringing empathy, honesty, and a genuine connection to every session. With supervised counseling experience and a background working with children facing mental health concerns and disabilities, she is passionate about creating a safe and comfortable space where clients can openly express themselves. Alex believes it is truly a privilege to walk alongside clients during life's most vulnerable moments, and looks forward to being a supportive and listening presence on every client's journey.

Najiah Williams / Operations Manager

Najiah serves as the Operations Manager at Ashay Counseling Agency, where she plays a vital role in keeping the practice running smoothly and efficiently. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, she oversees credentialing, compliance, and billing, ensuring that both clients and clinicians have a seamless and stress-free experience. Najiah works diligently behind the scenes to support the mission, making sure that every client's journey is met with compassion, professionalism, and integrity from start to finish.
